Rosette with lanceolate leaves Plant colour: greenish-red, red young leaf colouring Additional: suitable for beginners, suitable for aquariums from 50 cm additional fertilisation recommended, medium lighting, strong light Description: Echinodorus Simply Red is still a relatively rare hybrid, although it certainly deserves attention and should be of interest to amateurs and collectors. Echinodorus Simply Red justifies its name with a very intense colouring. Only it is not just red, but rather dark red with a raspberry hue. The lighter veins are clearly pronounced on the leaves. The height of Echinodorus Simply Red is not outstanding - it grows 25 - 30 cm, but there are exceptions, under very favourable conditions it can grow even more. Its rosette resembles a fountain - when the lower part is compact and the upper falls down from the leaves, so to speak. Echinodorus Simply Red is very unpretentious, even the light intensity does not play a noticeable role - the colour remains. But the more light, the more leaves it holds and young leaves stay bright longer. Echinodorus Simply Red is a very interesting and beautiful hybrid.[1]
