Origin / Breeder : Tomas Kaliebe, Altlandsberg

Rosette with ovate leaves Plant color: greenish-red, red color of young leaves, pigmentation of part of the leaf plate Addition: suitable for beginners recommended supplementary fertilization, medium light, strong light Description: Echinodorus Stadt Altlandsberg is a hybrid between Echinodorus Little Bear and Echinodorus Ocelot red .

Echinodorus Altlandsberg grows up to 45 cm in the aquarium, the leaves grow steeply vertically, so the plant takes up little space in the width. Cuttings of leaves up to 23 cm long Elliptical leaf plate 22 x 5 cm large Young leaves have a red tint. Echinodorus Altlandsberg reproduces by daughter planting on a flowering shoot. This Echinodorus is not picky about water values, but needs nutrient-rich soil. It is recommended to additionally fertilize the plants with tableted fertilizers. CO2 supply is not required for these plants. The plant is not demanding on lighting, but it will grow without problems even in the strongest lighting. Please note that all Echinodorus are very sensitive to copper, for this reason they have a very poor attitude to drugs containing this drug. The shrubs can grow quite large, making them great plants for larger aquariums.[1].
